Final first tour blog.

So we left you in St Albans... which turned out to be one of the best gigs of the tour. Cheers to everyone at the gig. It was a right laugh. Big cheers to Hansi and Bill the soundman. The gig itself was slightly sad because it was the last one, and we'd had such a ball on the tour. Cheers so much to Ginger for having us along. And to Scott 'The Cat' Metzger for very rapidly becoming one of my favourite Americans (that is a huge compliment). Scott is one of those Americans who realises the brilliance of his homeland but doesn't go overboard about it, and his constant positivity and humour makes the two weeks fly by. Top man and we miss him already.

St Albans will remain in our memories for two reasons - the great gig and the mental curry after. We're a bit late turning up for our order and all 12 of the staff are sitting in the window waiting for us to arrive. They are brilliantly hurried and almost throw the coffees after at us. It was a marvellous curry, though.

Then back home to Leeds, which is a bit of an anti-climax after two weeks of pop n'roll fun. Thanks so much to everyone who's been so bloody lovely over the past couple of weeks. Which is just about all of you. Please keep in touch!

Inevitably when it's the four of us out on the road this will become more amusing, so keep tuned in.

All the best and thanks again. We literally couldn't have done the tour without you.
